STUDENT LOANS
New Zealand citizens or permanent residents are eligible apply for a student loan to assist with tuition fees and some living expenses during their study. This can cover course fees, as well as course costs. Course related cost quote forms are available from the D&A reception once the enrolment process is complete. STUDENT ALLOWANCES
A Student Allowance is a weekly payment to help with living expenses while students study full-time and does not need to be repaid. All full-time students at D&A who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents, are entitled to apply for a student allowance, provided they meet the criteria set by the Ministry of Social Development – Studylink. If students are under the age of 25 then eligibility will depend on their parents combined incomes. Not everyone is eligible for a student allowance.
